The set is not all that you need for a nominal use of a hammock. It should be something else.
First, there are four (or two) pegs. You can make them by hand from scrap materials, and can take from those that are sold together in a tent. I wear a hat with aluminum pegs in the form of a hook. Would be better if stakes are sufficiently strong.
Why four or two? Because on one peg you can hang and delaying the curtain and the compensator. But I myself do not do it. When each rope on his peg it more reliable.
The second thing you certainly need is a mat. Perhaps it is not obvious, but to sleep in a hammock without a mat in nature will be chilly. The cool night breeze will blow you from the bottom and unpleasantly chilly. However, I can comfort you, in the summer it might not be a thick mat. I use Artiach Light weight at 208 PM me, it was enough.
